Scorsese of the month

In celebration of Martin Scorsese's 80th birthday, we're holding a monthly screening night focused on his amazing body of work.

Since he first began filmmaking in the late 1960s, the great Italian-American director has been a vital force both in creating and preserving some of the world’s most unforgettable movies. Added to that, the range and breadth of the films he has made over the last 50 years means that, generally speaking, everyone has a favourite Scorsese movie.

On the third Monday of each month we screen a different Scorsese film picked and introduced by someone from GFT’s wide community of friends and contributors. There is no specific order to the films - we're just going on for as long as there are more Martin Scorsese films to play. Join us to celebrate the work of this most unique of Cinemasters, on the big screen where it belongs.

Take a look at our Letterboxd list to see which in the series we've screened so far.
