$20,000 in Tether Gold, and XAU₮ Swaps Count Double
Gold has one persistent design flaw: it has to physically be somewhere.
Until 21 September, any $50+ swap into XAU₮ earns two entries in our draw with Tether. 100 winners split the $20,000 at the end, and each share is scaled to that winner's total swap volume.
Crypto-to-crypto swaps only; cross-chain USDT swaps don't qualify. 18+. Not open to residents of the US, UK, Singapore or Canada. Read the terms here.
Behind
the XAU₮
Tether built USDT, the most widely held stablecoin in the world. XAU₮ is the same idea applied to gold: an asset you own outright and hold as long as you want, no broker, no storage bill.
1 XAU₮ = 1 troy ounce of the metal itself, inside a specific bar, in a vault in Switzerland. Every bar has a serial number and a purity mark, and Tether publishes the list, so you can look up the bar your token belongs to.
Your gold now moves like everything else in your wallet. You can send it to a friend at midnight (you obviously cannot do this with a bar).
Tether pays for the vault. Hold enough of it and you can ask them to swap the tokens back for physical metal.
